St Joseph’s PRIMARY
AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS & WRAPAROUND CARE
At St Joseph’s Primary School, Camp Epic provide Breakfast Club & Afterschool clubs that run until 5:30pm 5 days a week (this will soon be changing to 6pm when we have sign-off from the school). So for working parents, this is a great childcare option as the children are in a familiar, safe setting, along with their friends & ready to start their school day or be picked-up when you finish work!
Having said that, we have designed Camp Epic to be more that just ‘another childcare option’. We want children to WANT to come to Camp Epic; whether that be to learn a new sport or hobby, practise & perfect their existing skills, or even just to have some fun & let off some steam with friends after school!
The kids can choose between 3 activity options each session. These include a Sport / Game, a ‘Creative’ activity such as Arts & Crafts, Cookery Classes or Mad Science & there’s also always a Free-play’ option, which gives kids the opportunity to take some time-out & chill by themselves playing with Lego, colouring-in, reading, doing puzzles etc…
THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AT CAMP EPIC!

MEET YOUR TEAM
THIS IS Ruby.
Ruby is a qualified ProSports Sports Coach. She is also trained in Paediatric First Aid, Child Safeguarding, Food Safety & has a secret talent for photography, so she helps capture a lot of the great content you see on our socials.
She will be responsible for the smooth running of Camp at St Joseph’s, ensuring the kids have everything they need to have a good time in a safe environment. This includes making sure the weekly schedules are planned & sent out to all you parents, helping you with any questions or queries you might have & running the daily Sports Activities with the kiddos.
She loves sports, particularly Gymnastics & really enjoys coming up with fun craft projects & cool science experiments to do with the kids. She basically a big kid a heart!
In her free time, Ruby loves House music, going to music festivals & going out with friends. When asked how she’d describe herself, she said:
‘I’m basically a household name… like Colgate’.

SITE LEAD &
SPORTS COACH
THIS IS CHARLOTTE.
Charlotte will be assisting the Site Lead at St Joseph’s with things such as activity planning, food prep & tidying up, as well as running the ‘Creative’ activity sessions & keeping an eye on the kiddies enjoying some ‘Free Play’ time indoors.
Charlotte joined us during the summer, being initially based at our Grays Summer Camp, which saw record numbers of up to 70 kids per day this year- (this was no mean feat!). So some of the kiddies will already have met her there!
Charlotte took to the role like a fish to water, engaging the kids in all sorts of crafty projects & creative games & she is now planning on bringing that same energy & creative spark to St Joseph’s After-school club!
She loves reading, all kinds of music & spending time with her family in her free time.

Activity Lead
THIS IS matt.
Matt will be assisting the Site Lead & Activity Lead at St Joseph’s with tasks such as tidying up & helping the kids during the ‘Creative’ activity sessions & keeping an eye on the kiddies enjoying some ‘Free Play’ time too.
Matt is new to the team & joined us during the summer. He’s new to working with children in this kind of environment, but has taken to it really well considering he was also thrown in to the deep end like Charlotte, being placed at our Gray’s Summer Camp.
In his free time, Matt likes playing on his PS5 or either watching or playing football!
THIS IS Emma.
Emma is living her best life at Camp Epic. She is crafty & artsy with a dash of OCD, a splash of silly & a BIG dollop of EPIC (but don’t ask her to do sports… she will most likely injure herself).
As a mum herself, she loves working with kids & coming up with new ideas to make our Camps the best they can be; from overseeing / auditing all of our Camp Epic sites to ensure quality & consistency across the brand & assisting with staff training at site level, to managing our socials & planning holiday camps.
She spins many plates here at Camp Epic & ultimately wants only the best for the kids & parents that book with us, so she works with the schools to build great working relationships & supports the teams in any way she can to ensure they can all deliver an EPIC experience for every child.

EPIC PLAYING CARDS GAME
Does your child love collecting things? Are they a fan of Pokemon cards?… Well if so, they will LOVE our NEW ‘EPIC PLAYING CARDS’!
These cards range from ‘Common’ to ‘Mythical’ depending on the likelihood that they will get their hands on one.
Each of our Coaches, Team Members & Sites have their own card, as well as specific games / sports / activities etc… & there’s even cards for things like hitting Camp attendance Milestones & referring friends too!
Kids collect the cards by simply Meeting the Team members on the cards, attending the sites (for breakfast club, afterschool club or Holiday Camps), taking part in specific challenges / activities, winning challenges & so on!
So the more they come to Camp Epic, the more opportunity to collect cards to add to their collections!
Kids can start collecting from their first session- just ask your Site Lead for their St Joseph’s School Card to get started & join in the game!
SO MANY CARDS TO COLLECT!
